During the rainy season, rainwater will flow freely without any blockage in the drain and reach the surplus Cauvery water area from Thangamapuripattinam to avoid poor sanitation and diseases as well as to keep the environment clean.

RO water plant at Suligunta Village and Mahadevapuram Village
People in the area face difficulties accessing clean drinking water, leading them to make daily trips to Berigai to collect RO water for their needs. Installing a 2000 LPH RO plant has significantly alleviated this issue, benefitting villagers in both communities
