Renovation and Modernisation of the MNC Block
The Sanmar Group supported the renovation of the Madhuram Narayanan Block (MNC Block), a ground plus three floor building of approx. 24,000 sq. ft. at the Cancer Institute (WIA). The new MNC block has a lobby with doctors’ consultation rooms, 22 state-of-the-art patient rooms, two Iodine treatment rooms per BARC standards, and nurses’ stations.
The Cancer Institute (W.I.A) is a public charitable institution dedicated to cancer care for the last sixty years. The Institute provides comprehensive cancer care centre comprising a hospital of 545 beds, a research division, a college of oncological sciences, and a division of preventive oncology.
