Support towards patient care
The Sanmar Group’s contribution of Rs. 25 lakhs was towards providing free treatment and comprehensive care for underprivileged patients with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes for one year (2024-25).
Diabetes International Research and Educational Charitable Trust (DIRECT), part of Dr. Mohan’s Diabetes Specialties Centre in Chennai, provides comprehensive, lifelong diabetes care, including consultations, counselling, medications, and surgical services to underprivileged children and the elderly patients.
