US Consul General David T Hopper said that good infrastructure, governance, hard working and talented work force has forced plethora of US corporates evincing interest to invest in South India.
Speaking at function to confer the first Indo-US Business Co-operation Award to Flowserve, an US company, organised by the Indo American Chamber of Commerce (IACC) here yesterday, he said that such awards clearly showcases the success of the Indo-US business relations.
In his address IACC chairman, R Anand said that this occasion heralded a new chapter in the calendar of events of IACC and had all the ingredients to provide further impetus to the on-going Indo-US business relations.The total exports into the US from India amounts to $18 billion and the total imports from US into India accounts for $6 billion, he said and added that China's total business with the US accounted for around $285 billion which is around 12 times India's business with the US.
