TCI Sanmar Chemicals is the largest integrated producer of Caustic Soda, PVC and Calcium Chloride Granules in the MENA region with state-of-the-art technology. It has an installed annual capacity of Caustic Soda of 275,000 TPA, PVC 400,000 TPA and 130,000 TPA of Calcium Chloride Granules. It also operates a unique 60,000 TPA Bio-Ethylene Plant with sugarcane-based Ethanol as feedstock, resulting in the manufacture of bio-attributed Green PVC. TCI Sanmar is the only player globally gaining traction in developed markets for Green PVC.
TCI Sanmar employs around 3000 Egyptians, both direct and indirect. Besides selling the products in the local Egypt market, the company exports its products to Southern Europe, Asia, Middle East, North Africa etc.
The company’s domestic sale of PVC saves valuable foreign exchange for Egypt as otherwise the country imports a huge quantum of PVC. Further, export sales fetches dollar inflow into Egypt.
