The Sanmar Group acquired Matrix Metals LLC, in early 2008. Matrix Metals is a foundry group comprising three divisions – Keokuk Steel Castings Co., Iowa, Acerlan Foundry, Mexico and the trading arm, NEPCO, Houston.
Matrix Metals provides a wide range of castings, machining and tooling services to its global customers in segments such as flow control, locomotive/transit cars, mining and construction equipment, track and oilfield equipment.
Through its acquisition by the Sanmar Group, Matrix Metals gains from the global reach and long standing relationships the group enjoys with its joint venture partners, some of them existing over three decades.
