| US Consul General David T Hopper said that good infrastructure, governance, hard working and talented work force has forced plethora of US corporates evincing interest to invest in South India. |
| Speaking at function to confer the first Indo-US Business Co-operation Award to Flowserve, an US company, organised by the Indo American Chamber of Commerce (IACC) here yesterday, he said that such awards clearly showcases the success of the Indo-US business relations. |
| In his address IACC chairman, R Anand said that this occasion heralded a new chapter in the calendar of events of IACC and had all the ingredients to provide further impetus to the on-going Indo-US business relations. |
| The total exports into the US from India amounts to $18 billion and the total imports from US into India accounts for $6 billion, he said and added that China's total business with the US accounted for around $285 billion which is around 12 times India's business with the US. |
