CHENNAI: The Sanmar group has acquired Bangalore Genei Pvt. Ltd (BGPL), a biotech venture in Bangalore through Sanmar Speciality Chemicals (SSCL). Genei will provide a platform for SSCL’s entry into biotechnology and will complement the existing and growing chemistry research activities, says a company release.
