| Employees whose performance was rated exceptional
during the year 2002-2003, were felicitated on 6th August at a function
held at the conference hall at Plant II. While S Suresh, General Manager-HR,
welcomed the audience, P S Jayaraman, Managing Director, presented
the awards. |

| At a pleasant ceremony on 5th August 2003, exceptional
performance and long service awards were given away at Chemplast Sanmar’s
corporate headquarters at Chennai. Each awardee received his award
from his senior who spoke of the attributes that made him eligible
for the award. |

| Farewell to retiring employees |
| Three employees of Chemplast Sanmar
retired recently and they were given fitting farewells by their colleagues
at Mettur. Of these, C S Balu, Senior Manager - Planning after 37
years of service, and S Vijayakumar, Executive Vice President, after
more than seven, retired on 30 June, while S Kannan, who served the
company for more than 36 years, retired on 31st July. Both Balu and
Kannan received gold medals from V Ramachandran, Executive Vice President,
at farewell functions held at Plant III. |
