| AMP Sanmar Chief Operating Officer B Natraj
assumed office as President of the Madras Chamber of Commerce
and Industry (MCCI) at its annual general body meeting on 28
July 2003. Tamil Nadu Governor P S Ramamohan Rao was the chief
guest at the meeting which was attended by top industrialists
of the State, including Sanmar Group Chairman N Sankar, A Sivasailam
of the Amalgamations Group and G K Raman of the TVS group. |
| Presentations on the Tamil Nadu economy and
MCCI were the highlights of the event. The Chamber received
the ISO 9001:2000 certification during the function. |
