| The Madhuram Narayanan Centre (MNC) for Exceptional
Children celebrated its twelfth anniversary on December 12,
2001. On this occasion, the children and parents of MNC presented
a dance programme based on the theme “Songs of Alwar – Parenting
the Infant and the Young Child” at Bala Mandir German Hall,
Chennai. The joy at the birth of the child and the developmental
stages that the child goes through were vividly brought out
through songs and actions by scores of Krishnas and parents
on stage. |
| K S Narayanan, the Patron of the Centre who
presided over the function and V Narayanan, former Chairman
and Managing Director, Good Year India Ltd., who was the Chief
Guest, commended the performance of the children and said that
it was an index of their significant development, thanks to
the training at the Centre. They congratulated the staff, volunteers
and the parents at the Centre on their remarkable achievement. |
