| Sanmar Footwear stands tall
in exports |
| Sanmar Footwear Limited (SFL) exports leather show
uppers (footwear components) chiefly to the UK and Italy. The company’s
achievements on an all India basis for the period 1998-99 were very
impressive. SFL was the fourth largest exporter of footwear components
from India. It was also the third largest exporter to the UK. (Information
based on the figures published by Council for Leather Exports, Chennai
for exports of leather and leather products during 1998-99). |
