Safety Day celebrations at Cuddalore |

| Atofina Peroxides India Limited celebrated the 29th
National Safety Day on March 4, 2000 with great enthusiasm. The employees
who had gathered at a meeting conducted on this special day took their
Safety Pledge.K Chidambaranathan, Inspector of Factories, Cuddalore,
was the chief guest on the occasion and P Vineedhan and K Rajasekaran
of the Environment and Safety Department of Vanavil Dyes and Chemicals
Limited, Cuddalore, delivered special lectures on safety. Several
case studies were presented and discussed. Winners of a safety slogan
contest were felicitated on that day. |

The Atofina Peroxides plant at Cuddalore recently entertained
some VIP visitors. The District Collector, Sandeep Saxena, spent
nearly three hours going round the facility and acquainting
himself with the operations. Ela Pugalendhi, MLA, was another
guest to express happiness at the eco-friendly plant’s functioning.
