| The TQM Forum for Organisational Excellence
was formed six years ago by the Confederation of Indian Industry
(CII), Karnataka. More than 50 medium and large scale industries
in and around Bangalore are members of the Forum. The activities
of the Forum include exposure to the best practices adopted
by the member industries and interaction between them towards
achieving business excellence as defined in the CII Business
Excellence Model. |
| This year, an award was instituted based on
agreed criteria, for the best participant in the deliberations
of the Forum. M A Ranganath, AGM-Technical and Quality
of Sanmar Micropack Limited (SMPL) won the best participant
award based on the committee’s assessment of his active participation
and useful contribution in the meetings. |
