| A Sanmar son’s brilliant
performance |
| Santhanaraman, son of S Pattabiraman, Senior Foreman,
Chemplast, Plant II, PVC Division, Mettur performed extremely well
in his Higher Secondary Examinations (Plus Two) held by the Higher
Secondary Board of Examinations, Tamil Nadu in April this year. He
stood first in Salem District securing 1155 marks out of 1200. With
this achievement, Santhanaraman has earned a scholarship from the
Government of Tamil Nadu for his college education. At a colourful
function held recently at Chennai, the Hon’ble Chief Minister
of Tamil Nadu, M Karunanidhi, gave away a certificate of merit and
a cash prize to Santhanaraman. |
