| In line with the policy of continuously introducing
new products in its range, Asco (India) is now entering into
the fluid power segment and will market the pneumatic products
of the Joucomatic range. Joucomatic, a Division of Automatic
Switch Co., is one of the leading players in the fluid power
segment and has a wide range of pneumatic products such as Valves,
Cylinders, Filter Regulator Lubricators (FRLs) and other pneumatic
accessories. The formal introduction of these products has now
opened new opportunities for Asco (India) to expand its base.
It will market the standard products to start with and then
move on to offering complete system automation. |
| The initial response from the market has been
very encouraging and Asco (India) has already bagged a few orders
for these products from OEMs as well as end users. With more
orders in the pipeline, Asco (India) is all set to consolidate
its position in this highly competitive market. |
| These products are in addition to the two
new products introduced during the current year namely Automatic
Transfer Switches and Hydramotor Valves. Major orders for Asco
Transfer Switches were executed in August which met the requirements
of Oracle Software India Ltd., and Silicon Automation Systems,
based in Bangalore.
