| The fourth Annual Day celebrations of Dragoco
India took place on 20 February 1999, beginning with an invocation
by Latha Sundar, wife of V Sundar, GM Finance, and lighting
of the traditional lamp by Padma Venkat, wife of C Venkat, CEO.
In his inaugural address, Venkat spoke of Dragoco’s achievements
in 1998 and of the company’s vision for 2002. He expressed
the hope that all employees and their families would stay together
and succeed in scaling higher peaks in the future. |
| The theme for the evening was ‘Family’
and a number of family games, including a special one for children,
made the event a most memorable one. Each division of the company
– Finance, QA and IS Management, Flavours, Fragrances
and Operations – put up a performance. These ranged from
several skits and a ‘customer meeting’ to a colourful
song and dance sequence (the last item by the Finance division)! |
| The evening was long but the enthusiastic
participation of those present was evidence of Dragoco India’s
success as a family, as a committed team moving together towards
tomorrow. |
