Position 1. Casting Engineer - Sanmar Foundries Ltd

Job Profile 1. Feasibility study of Enquiries and giving feedback to Marketing.

2. Review of various Activities – Magma, Pattern Manufacture, Pattern Development, Casting Development, and customer approval status Pilot proves out as per plan & validation of Patterns periodically.

3. Coordinating the approval for Rate and delivery for New Product Development
4. Approving all the method Sheets, Process sheets and dimension reports for New Product Development.
5. Participating in the daily rejection meeting and QIT.
6. Preparation and offering of sample casting with all necessary documents for Customer's approval.
7. Approving and issuing the quality plan for various customer Purchase Orders.
8. Maintaining the complete history of the complaints handled for the customers.
Person Profile

Graduate engineer preferably with post graduate qualification in foundry technology (or metallurgy)
Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience

Position 2. Senior Engineer - Material Planning

Job Profile 1. Production planning for in house machining / assembly operations / outside machining
2. To meet customers' delivery commitments
3. Release of production orders, production plan--day wise/ week wise / month wise
4. MRP run for sale/machining orders for material and capacity planning.
5. Co-ordination with Imports cell, for schedule of imported components
6. Key goal - to achieve 95%+ On time delivery performance
7. To monitor lead times for order completion and improve lead times
8. To play a key role in coordination with production, material planning & purchase
9. Reports generation / analysis - to improve planning process

3. Ensure usage of fettling boots and proper housekeeping and 5S
4. Controls Consumable like Electrode and steel shots Validation of contractors bill
5. Ensure proper surface and crudity of castings by usual inspection
6. Ensure the fettling cycle time OLC 10dgrees is achieved a the heat treatment

Position 4. Assistant Engineer - Quality

Job Profile 1. Ensuring the availability of Liquid metal based on the Melting Plan
2. Pouring as per the Heat Plan
3. Ensuring the Availability of the Scrap, raw material and de-oxidants, as per the Heat Plan
4. Entry of Material Charged, Power & Fuel Consumption, cycle time, Quality details (Chemistry, Tapping Temp, Pouring Temp)
5. Ensuring Consumption of Charge Material and Consumables as per Norms for Every Heat
6. Arranging Furnace and Laddle Re-lining to ensure Furnace Crucibles/Ladles are available for Production
7. Ensure manning of all the Furnaces
8. Adherence to the Melting Practice specified in the Melting Procedure, Process Cards
9. Controlling the all Metal Losses (Melting Loss, Ingotting, Spillage wastage), Power & Fuel Consumption, Melting Cycle Time as per the Norms
10. Ensuring the safety Work Practices are followed in the shift
11. Ensure Housekeeping in his Work Area
12. Continuous Checking of the Furnace and Laddle Condition - Lining, to avoid any damage/breakdown
