| The men at the helm at Sanmar have provided invaluable
leadership to both state-level and apex bodies representing Indian
industry. N Sankar, the Chairman of the group, has been a past President
of ASSOCHAM (The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India)
and Vice Chairman N Kumar has been a past President of CII (Confederation
of Indian Industry). N Sankar has been a member of the Managing Committee
of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), Paris, apart from
having been the President of the Indian National Committee of the
ICC. |
| The decades-long ties of the group with Denmark
have formed apt expression in both K S Narayanan, Chairman Emeritus
of the group and N Sankar, occupying the position of the Danish Consul
General for South India at different periods. Vijay Sankar, a chartered accountant and an alumnus of the Kellogg School of Management, USA, is the new generation director on the Sanmar board. |
